About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an experienced trademark attorney to join the Advertising & Brand Protection practice group in Chicago as a senior-level professional track associate. This firm has a robust Intellectual Property practice and its Chicago office was started by a large group of attorneys from a full-service IP and technology firm.

Responsibilities:
· Trademark portfolio management
· Reviewing trademark search reports and prepare written clearance opinions
· Monitor trademark watch notices and prepare recommendations when warranted
· Prepare cease-and-desist letters
· Handle oppositions and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board
· Communicate with foreign trademark practitioners

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of substantial domestic and international trademark prosecution experience (over 10 years preferred)
· Experience with trademark enforcement, trademark licensing, and due diligence projects
· Experience managing international trademark matters
· Excellent academic credentials
