About the Position:
We are working with one of the world’s largest law firms that has an immediate need for a tax attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on structuring domestic and cross-border investments across various asset classes, private investment offerings, and mergers and acquisitions
· Draft and negotiate contracts and investment documents
· Draft opinions and memoranda on complex US tax matters

Required Qualifications:
· Significant transactional tax experience, including federal income tax experience as a result of M&A, private equity, capital market, financing, and joint venture transactions
· Experience in corporate, partnership, or international tax
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
