About the Position:
We are working with a top-tier international law firm that has an immediate need for a tax attorney with 2-4 years of transactional experience to join its Chicago office as an associate. The attorney will work with the Investment Funds group and participate in high-level fund formation, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. This practice group is one of the most highly ranked of its kind, and spearheads truly global transactions on a grand scale.

Responsibilities:
· Advise multinational clients regarding tax law
· Work with clients to navigate complex, cross-border tax structuring issues
· Handle tax aspects of cross-border private equity, real estate and debt investments and tax structuring of investment funds

Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of transactional tax experience including with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross border transactions
· Large law firm experience
