About the Position:
We are working with a prestigious Am Law firm that has an active need for a trusts and estates lawyer (3-6 yrs) to join its Chicago office as an associate. The attorneys in this practice represent individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations with sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management matters.

Responsibilities:
· Draft complex estate plan and business succession planning documents for high-net-worth individuals as well as complex charitable giving documents
· Counsel clients on income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning
· Process federal gift and estate tax returns
Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of high-net-worth estate plan drafting, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and trust agreement drafting experience
· Strong drafting and writing skills
· Large or midsize law firm experience preferred

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $305,000.
