About the Position:
Our client, an elite Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a finance lawyer with 2+ years of venture capital/emerging growth experience to join its Century City Los Angeles office as an associate. This practice has a global reach and has been nationally recognized for its work, and this position will have a strong focus on working with emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them.

Responsibilities:
· Advise emerging growth companies and their institutional investors on venture capital financings, representing both issuer and investor sides of the transaction
· Support M&A deal execution alongside general corporate counseling for emerging growth clients, handling day-to-day legal matters as they arise
· Conduct legal research and draft polished, well-reasoned transaction documents, correspondence, and other corporate work product
· Manage multiple deals simultaneously from initial structuring through closing, while cultivating strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience with venture capital work, representing both issuers and institutional investors in financing transactions
· Background in M&A and general corporate advisory work for emerging growth companies
· Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm strongly preferred, ideally within an emerging companies/venture capital practice

Location:
Los Angeles – Century City, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $435,000.
