Debbie Carlson is a Managing Director for McCormack Schreiber. She has over a decade of law firm legal recruiting experience, overseeing the recruiting efforts of partner, associate and summer associate hiring for two premier Chicago law firms. In addition, she has professional experience as an executive recruiter in banking and financial services in which she honed her expertise in business development, recruiting top talent for c-level, director, management and other senior positions. Debbie’s unique blend of internal and external recruiting experience brings a high-level understanding of the strategic approach necessary to recruit the best candidate for the client. She has worked in the Chicago legal market for the majority of her professional career, and in addition to her more recent legal recruiting experience, she began her career with the American Bar Association and was a senior litigation paralegal for a large law firm. Debbie earned her B.S. in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Illinois State University.
