Gay Rineberg Schreiber

Gay Schreiber is a Founder and Co-President of McCormack Schreiber Legal Search. Gay has more than 35 years of experience in the Chicago legal community, both as a legal recruiter and a practicing attorney, and has been a legal recruiter in Chicago for over 25 years. Gay works closely with attorneys of all practice areas and levels – partners, associates, and in-house counsel – and assists each attorney with their own unique search and placement objectives. In addition, Gay regularly meets and consults with law firms and companies about their legal hiring strategies and objectives. Gay also speaks before legal and professional organizations about legal hiring and career topics, and she was selected for inclusion in the 2023 and 2024 Lawdragon Global 100 Leaders in Legal Strategy and Consulting. Before her career in recruiting, Gay was a litigation associate at Winston & Strawn. Gay earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Emory University, and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
